What a Wonderful World….. White men created all the technology behind the modern world. About 97% of it. White men and women created America….. the world’s best country. Humans are now moving and migrating around the planet. It’s here they want to come. I can see why: most of the ... White men created all the technology behind the modern world. About 97% of it. White men and women created America….. the world’s best country. Humans are now moving and migrating around the planet. It’s here they want to come. I can see why: most of the world has a very low standard of living. This movement of peoples is creating much tension in the modern world. Like most people, I pity those who want to come to the better countries like America, my heart goes out to them, but common sense must prevail. We can’t let everyone in. There are too many of them. Too few of us. Trump wants to build his wall. If we allowed endless immigration, billions from around the world would move to America, because we are the best country. If we are to have peace, if we are to have prosperity for all humans, a good life for all humans, we must ask ourselves some serious questions: What is the best way forward for the human race? What is the best way forward, for peace and prosperity for all humans? Is it Multi-cultural-ism? Or is there another way?…My view: The best plan going forward is to give immigration a hundred year break. The best plan forward for peace and prosperity for all humans, is for everyone to stay in their own territory, then as technology is created to give everyone a better life around the world, we must export that technology to the rest of the world…to give everyone a better life. The world is a very big place. Lots of room for everyone. We can live in peace, in our home countries. The idea that everyone has to migrate to Western societies is madness, that if pursued with no restraint, will likely end in genocide.I think that is what is behind nationalism arising, around the world. People sense that.I am fine with human diversity. The problem is numbers. European peoples, who created the modern world, we are a tiny minority on the planet. If we let everyone move to the countries that have European majority populations, we will become extinct. We Europeans are a rare flower of humanity that created the entire modern world. All future human progress may depend on our survival. Should we commit genetic suicide? No thanks. If Europeans disappear from the human population, who knows what will happen? Perhaps there is some biological peculiarity in Europeans, that gave rise to a certain number of geniuses who created the modern world. If we go extinct, all human progress may end.I can’t say this is right. I can’t say this is wrong. But we know that progress happens, mostly among European peoples. Do we really want to play genetic Russian Roulette, go extinct and hope for the best for the human race? My own view has never been that Europeans are “superior” to other people. It’s more like, we are likely a cultural and genetic peculiarity, that for very subtle and complex random reasons, gave rise to the modern world and everything that now keeps us humans alive. I don’t hate anyone. Everyone has a right to exist. But don’t let anyone tell you, that you don’t have a right to exist, because you are white. Be proud of who you are.I see nothing inevitable about human progress. I don’t see anything inevitable about the rise of science and the rise of democracy, free speech, humane treatment. They are all products of white, Western European societies. They are not inevitable things that happen in the world. If they were inevitable, they would have arisen elsewhere. They did not. Yes, I believe there is something peculiar and genetic at work here. Some forms of genius have genetic roots. For example, black genius is best exemplified in jazz genius. As a long time jazz fan, I don’t think whites could have invented jazz. Could the Chinese have invented classical music, like Beethoven? I doubt it very very much. Chinese will give flower to their own peculiar forms of genius, that are rooted in the genetics of their race and culture. Chinese will invent things, that whites simply can not invent, just like blacks have done with jazz. So…what happens if: whites disappear?…. Since whites invented most of the modern world, it seems likely, my guess is, we could just as likely regress into barbarism. People say letting in endless migrants is “humane” and “compassionate”. I doubt it. The intention is good, but intentions seldom are any sort of guide to outcomes, in complex systems. If we destroy our societies with too much immigration, we can’t even help the rest of the world achieve what we have achieved: peace and prosperity and a good life. It seems to me we must be patient and develop lots of technology to tackle human poverty around the globe. So far in history, the only thing that has worked, in raising standards of living and the health of human societies, is science. We are fools if we think it is compassion that is going to cure the world of it’s ills. We are fools to think, if we only extend our hearts, welcome billions, we can solve the world’s poverty problems. Letting in billions will only make things worse, not better. Compassion is a nice human trait, but we are fools if we think our own societies are so nice, because we are compassionate people. In fact, it is not our compassion that makes advanced countries nice to live in. It’s the development of science and technology…. combined with capitalism. We already tried science combined with organizing economics based on compassion. That was called “communism” and a hundred million corpses say, that did not work. What works for us…. capitalism and science… will work for everyone else, in creating a better life everywhere else on the planet, for people of all races and all ethnic groups. That’s the truly compassionate thing to do. So the best thing we can do in advanced countries, is keep on developing our technologies, then help our brothers and sisters around the world achieve a better life through trade and technology. Endless immigration is a fool’s game. I could be wrong in all this, of course, but my question is: why change what is already successful? We may end up screwing things up, that we don’t understand. Also, my basic reason for supporting this position is simple: it’s what most people say they want, in poll after poll, for decades, in advanced countries. All these people are not racist, they simply know what kind of society they want. Fool that I am, I actually believe in listening to people. Fool that I am, I think the average man or woman has good sense on this issue and is unlikely to be motivated by bad intentions. We need to get over our phobias about race and our phobia about open, honest talk on immigration. The elites in advanced countries have ignored the will of the masses for decades, because people are afraid to speak publicly what they feel in their hearts, speak publicly on what they want. They are afraid of being labelled ‘racist”. Let’s get over that. Let’s develop a public dialogue and a way of speaking on the issue of immigration, that is very nice and kind to other people of other races, but not blindly stupid or phobic on talking about race and immigration. We have really stupid and clueless and cowardly elites in many advanced countries. They ignore their voters on this issue. They hide, when courage is required. Cowardice will almost always lead to a bad outcome. In Britain they censor speech to keep a lid on civil war they fear will come, which their stupidity has brought on the conditions for. When immigration policy leads to a curtailing of civil liberties, you know that policy is very, very wrong….. and is destroying a country. If there is bloodshed over this in Britain’s future, blame will be placed squarely on the thin shoulders of it’s cowardly elites. If the elites keep the doors of immigration open with endless immigration against the will of the people, my guess is there will eventually be hell to pay in the form of blood. That’s not a threat, by any means. It’s a prediction. Their so-called “compassion” will end in blood, is my guess. My philosophy is:Yes, be nice to other varieties of humans, but be the nicest to your own kind. Keep them alive. Keep them flourishing. Am I a bad person for speaking the truth? I don’t think so. My heart is in the right place. I have malice to none, and charity to all. ...
