The Trump Show Save for later Reblog
Trump is our first Female President. Why? Because he likes drama and Soap Operas. He turned America into a new kind of TV show, with him as the star. Television has merged with politics. John F. Kennedy started that process, hobnobbing with the Hollywood elite. Reagan was our first Hollywood actor who became President. Trump is a continuation of that tradition of entertainment merging with politics. Trump’s an anti-dote to No Drama Obama….who was boring as hell. Even Obama’s husband Michael didn’t find him entertaining. Obama was our Dullard in Chief……America got sick of the boredom. So we elected Donald Trump. We needed the entertainment. Trump is a Social Justice Warrior for America. MAGA….He’s a woman, a Drama Queen, trapped in a man’s body. It’s those little hands, baby.
Am I insulting Trump by calling him a woman? No. Since when is being a woman a bad thing? Not in my universe. I’m just pointing out that Trump has some tendencies in him, that are more common in women than men. All men have some feminine traits in them, all women have some masculine traits in them…yin and yang, baby. I’m straight, but my feminine thing is, I’m pretty good at interior decorating….which is more typical of gay men, than straight men.
I remember being at university, sitting in a common student lounge where men and women sat around after classes or before classes, during the day. They watched soaps. Who was watching? It was 90% women who watched the soaps. Women like dramas. Straight men, not so much. I hate the Soaps. But a lot of gay men also like the Theater and Soaps…they like drama…..because gay men have unusually high social intelligence and sensitivity. Trump’s not gay, but he has the same quality in him…he likes drama, he likes make believe, he likes pushing people’s emotional buttons….and he’s incredibly socially smart…off the charts smart.
Welcome to the best TV show on the planet: The Trump Show
Most of the left are too dumb to comprehend Trump’s psychological complexity. They take him literally, when they should take him theatrically. Trump is a very unusual man. He plays those idiots like a master fiddler plays a fiddle.
Also to understand Trump, you have to understand the New York social and financial elite is the place where Trump has spent his life. He started out as closer to the comic strip Richie Rich, than anything else. He never felt he fit in. So he’s the elite man who feels more comfortable with the rubes….so long as he is always the Alpha Male in the room. And he is. No question on that. If you look it up on y-tube, a younger Donald guest starred on the very tasteless hick show “Hee Haw”…a long time ago.
Trump sincerely identifies with the common vulgar man and his plight, unlike most of the elite, who despise the American Middle Class. President FDR, while very different in style…urbane and sophisticated….was also able to connect with the common man. FDR was also a rich aristocrat from New York who connected with the common man, when the elites despised the common man. FDR saved capitalism, which had collapsed during the Dirty Thirties….leading to much social unrest. Capitalism is collapsing today. We need an FDR for our age, because communists have taken over the universities and the Democratic Party. Fortunately, a theatrical FDR has emerged to champion the common man: Donald John Trump.
Politically, Trump is more or less a John F. Kennedy liberal. But today, that political space is considered to be “conservative.” Like JFK and his girlfriend Marilyn Monroe, both are sexual libertines….so Trump is hardly a conservative in the traditional religious sense.
By the way, the American Middle Class has long known they are despised as “Wal Mart shoppers” by the elite. We know. You know who doesn’t know this? The elite….who think we are all dumb rubes.
Also Trump honed his media skills by being a star in the biggest media fish bowl on the planet: the New York social scene, for decades. Trump was in the newspapers in the social section during the 1990s….even in many places in Hicksville. (which is near Dog’s Breathe, Arkansas) New York newspapers constantly attacked Trump, he learned to fight with them, understand them, play their game, he came to despise them because he understood them.
Then Trump turned to TV and became a TV star, where he honed his shtick, playing the billionaire who most Americans want to be: very rich, an outsider, but keeping his common and vulgar aesthetic tastes. It’s all about the bling bling. Trump is a gangsta. He likes the bling bling, the flash, the gold that is so loved by black pimps and much of the working class. He’s all Vegas, which was influenced by gangster and black bling bling aesthetics. Vegas is where gangsters and rich Jews and real estate developers and prostitutes and sexual libertines of easy divorce came together to create the quintessential American city: Vegas….the place of Dreams….vulgar, materialistic dreams of freedom. Vegas is a TV show, made into real estate. On Trump’s show….The Apprentice…the Donald interacted daily with the common man, where Donald played “The Boss”. And Trump was a tough boss, but fair to all races and both genders. And Trump judges all people on their ability, nothing else. Anyone watching the show would figure that out. The middle class loved the show, got to know Donald Trump. They got to know him, trust him. He did this to create a boss persona…which he did…just like Cary Grant did….and a future voting block…which he did. The whole show The Apprentice, was one long election ad. The trouble is, no one noticed, because The Donald had not announced yet. But believe me, that was his plan all along: become a TV star as a stepping stone to running for President. You know who watches that show? Smelly WalMart shoppers like me….tens of millions of us. You know who doesn’t watch that show? The American elite….in academia, business and news. No one on CNN and MSNBC watches the show. That’s why they were surprised on election night. That’s why they didn’t see this coming, whereas I did: they are clueless, out of touch snobs.
Trump sometimes reminds me of Golden Age of Hollywood legend actor Cary Grant.
Cary Grant (born Archibald Alec Leach; January 18, 1904 – November 29, 1986) was an English-born American actor, known as one of classic Hollywood’s definitive leading men. He began a career in Hollywood in the early 1930s and became known for his transatlantic debonair demeanor, light-hearted approach to acting, and sense of comic timing. He became an American citizen in 1942….wiki
Cary was born into extreme poverty in England and when he came to America with a thick working class Cockney accent, which he was embarrassed about. He had a theatrical nature and so he transformed himself from a vulgar working class youth into sophisticated Cary Grant….one of classic Hollywood’s definitive leading men. He was an act of self-creation. Everything about him, he changed, he transformed, the way he talked, walked and thought….it was all to flee his awful horrible wretched past, as a boy. Cary became his sophisticated persona, he worked at it. So did Donald Trump….who is essentially a creation of someone born rich, who strives to become a common vulgar man. The Donald is Cary Grant, in reverse. And in both cases: It’s all theater. Or if you prefer, a TV show: The Trump Show….best show on the planet. As American as Apple Pie. (made in a factory and using imported labor to pick the apples, while some phony label is put on the pie box to make you think Mrs. Butterworth picked the apple this morning)
Welcome to the Trump Show.
Grab the popcorn and enjoy.
