Although only 23 homicides occurred during the whole year of 2017 in Montreal, a city with a population of more than 1.7 million, this figure is
The new wave of Canadian gun-control can be attributed to the two shooting in Toronto which happened which took place during the last 2 years and the fearmongering perpetrated by the mainstream media about mass shootings in the United States.
Homicides are few in Canada, and gun violence – compared to the size and population of the country – is factually nearly non-existent. Canadians are well-behaving citizens who respect the laws of their country, however, the Canadian government is surely going to take full advantage of that.
“Montreal’s motion demands that no Canadians be allowed to possess a handgun or assault rifle, with the exception of people who work in the military or law enforcement.”
If this chain of events keeps going, citizens of Canada might just get disarmed within the next 3 years, however, law enforcement agencies of Canada will definitely retain their firearms and their right to use even deadly force. This de-facto ‘loophole’ might just allow the state to disenfranchise any and all freedom-loving citizens opposing explicit or implicit tyranny or martial law (implemented in response to an excuse or to a false flag attack).
These shifty creatures of the night, called Canadian politicians (at least many of them are), look at the mass shooting of the United States and the couple ones which took place in Canada as great, advantageous chances and also a political platforms to further their career and empower the state more in matters the state should not be injecting itself into.
They masquerade their secret intentions with supposed “good will”, however they, to this very day, fail to realize that law-abiding citizens aren’t the issue, but criminals who are getting their guns via covert illegal ways are the issue.
Justin Trudeau, substitute drama teacher and part-time ski instructor, seems to be involved as well:
“People need to be safe and we need to take the right measures to do that,” Trudeau said.
“And we’re looking at things that have been done around the world, things that have been done in other jurisdictions, looking at the best evidence, the best data, to make the right decisions to make sure that we are ensuring our citizens, our communities are safe into the future.”
Trudeau and his mates who dreamed up, and voted in favor of these gun-control bills are pushing for their own little (Communistic) utopia where only the state and its army and police force are allowed to have firearms, while all Canadians are disarmed and are supposed to be “protected by the government.” In such an unfortunate situation Canadians will be totally reliant on the state since they will have no legal course to acquire firearms and therefore will be totally unable to defend their freedoms and property from the state itself.
This new wave of gun-control is not just affecting Canada and the United States, but have found ways into Europe too. The Portuguese parliament will be considering a new gun-control bill at the beginning of this September, which may change the legislation of firearms licenses and tries to limit the number of firearms hunters and other people with these new licenses allowed to hold. According to the proposal even airsoft players must have valid licenses to purchase and own airsoft guns (it also applies to airsoft guns purchased prior). It is set to change laws in connection with the possible inheritance of firearms as well, and the new proposal does include stipulations about the notion that all inherited guns must be disabled or given to the police.
This is how ridiculous looking an airsoft rifle is currently mandated to be in Portugal.
