Coach Red Pill contends that hyper-gamy is common in both men and women. So they are the same, right? Equal? Obviously men always seek higher status women….which for him as a male means females who are more beautiful, younger than his current mate. That’s true, that’s how men are wired by nature. Whereas women do the same thing, right? Women always seek a man with higher status than her….that’s true, that’s how women are wired, by nature. So this means male and female hyper-gamy are the same thing, according to Coach Red Pill. Are they the same? Is that true?

Not true. Not true at all. 

Errors in Coach Red Pill’s logic:

1-Government is now voted in by mostly women, who are the majority of voters. So now politicians give women all kinds of advantages, to get their vote. Politicians now up the government bureaucracy of benefits, for the government to be in competition with men, to cater to women. Hyper-gamy is about men competing with each other to please women. With women voting, a new player enters the arena, to compete against every man. That new player is the government, which effectively acts like a man in the sexual market. A competing man. A ghost man who competes with every other man, for the affection of women. Government acts like a man because the government is willing to give women resources and protection, for their loyalty.

Guess who controls this new “ghost man”? Women do, since they are the majority of voters. 

Remember: Giving a female resources and protection are basic evolutionary roles for men, in the evolved hyper-gamy male/female equation of nature. This new role for government interferes with hyper-gamy in it’s natural state. Since women now vote and humans produce more resources than every, after the advent of modern technology,  ordinary men now have to be able to compete with other men and also now modern men must compete with government as well, for the affection and loyalty of women. The government is now a ghost man who has a role in every sexual relationship, as a phantom man, always there competing for the affection and loyalty of women.

Men pay 70% of taxes, but women use 70% of tax money, men only use 30% of tax money. In it’s natural state, which is pre-industrial human life, hyper-gamy worked quite well. Life was primitive. Men provided protection, women provided loyalty  and were provided resources. The bond between men and women was strong because they depended directly on each other. That dependency ends it’s directness in the modern world of science, technology, voting and governments now catering to women, because women are the majority of voters. That’s where socialism comes from, that’s where communism comes from: they come from emotion, from the human heart, from the evolved tendency in men and women, to take care of women. Capitalism works better, it caters to women better because it actually works, but it comes mostly from the head….not the heart.

Natural hyper-gamy as it evolved through time, it worked well. But it doesn’t work very well now, because the government interferes with the ability of men to compete for the attention of women, by the government taking care of female needs and wants. Governments interfere with natural hyper-gamy. Modern life completely changes the basic sexual equation between men and women:  It is very difficult for many men to not only compete with other men, but also with the behemoth of government, in securing the affection of women.

2-Women are most concerned with a man’s social and economic status, men are mostly concerned with a woman’s beauty and youth…..that’s just evolution. Not good, not bad. It just IS…. These male and female variants of hyper-gamy are very different forms of hyper-gamy. In a narrowly defined sense of course, men and women are “equal”….in that they are both acting in a hyper-gamous manner. However, the playing out of male and female hyper-gamy lead to very different outcomes for both genders, based on the simple rules of hyper-gamy. And these simple rules have biological roots in human fundamentals: females get pregnant, males don’t. 

The modern world….with science, technology and invention….and jobs and education for women, all these things completely change how hyper-gamy play out, for women. Think about it in terms of games theory: 

When women economically compete with men in an open market place, in a society where men and women are equal, then mathematically, for any one random man and one random woman, the woman will economically out-compete the man roughly 50% of the time. What do the rules of female hyper-gamy say? It’s simple: When women out compete men economically, she doesn’t want him. I’m not villainizing women when I say that. I’m just describing how nature works, how women evolved….I’m just describing what women want. The whole thing is driven, not by men imposing anything on women, but on catering to female desire…what women want.

The way past societies have handled this problem of males and females competing with each other for social power and how that screws up the basic male-female mating equation, the way past societies handled this problem is to have separate social and sometimes work and status worlds for men and women, where they didn’t compete for power directly with each other. Having men and women compete directly with each other for power and money means women often win. When they win, they no longer want the man, since all women date UP economically…that is the textbook definitions of hyper-gamy.

3-Another rule of hyper-gamy: Women control sex, decide who gets sex. <that’s why rape is so bad, it removes control over sex, from the woman….all civilized people agree…women must be in control of sex> Another relevant fact: Men want more sex than women. The average 65 year old man thinks about sex as often as a 25 year old woman, at her sexual peak. Again….just evolution. Not a value judgement.

These evolutionary facts, they mean women get to choose, women get to decide who gets sex….and who doesn’t. So sure, the Coach is right: IN THEORY all men are hyper-gamous….men all want the young hot women….just like all women want higher status guys. But in practice, since men want sex more often than women and women control who gets sex, this means that male hyper-gamy has a natural check on it: a female veto to say no to sex with a man.

Men have a veto on their sexual impulses. That’s a good thing. It saves women from the barbaric impulses of men. Unfortunately, the sexual controls on women have largely fallen off, with modern life….to our cultural peril. 

The problem arises with the creation of modern technology, computers and Tinder: When this power is unleashed in a culture where men and women are economically equal, it means 80% of women go after the top 20% of men. There is a basic difference between the genders, when it comes to mate choice: Men find many women attractive. Women only find a few men attractive. Left to female choice, with no social restraints, only a few men get chosen.

In the human past we had religion, we had enforced monogamy, to ensure most men got access to sex with women. In enforced monogamy societies, most men and most women, they win sexually. They find a partner. In our current sexually liberated society, with few if any sexual restraints on women, then most men and most women lose, in the mating game. That’s why marriage has fallen apart for the bottom 80% of women and men: Often women find no value in getting married and men in the bottom 80% have so few resources, they have no value to women….who often have their own resources. We have set up most men and women to lose, in our current social arrangements. The only people sexually winning under our new social rules are the top men and the women they choose. The rest of us lose. Most men lose because most are not chosen. Most women lose because they all think they can compete for and get, the best man. And of course they can’t. Time and math ensure that doesn’t happen. The math doesn’t work that way……80% of women cannot all get the top 20% of men. Math and logic and time don’t work that way. That’s why polygamy disappeared from history, more or less….polygamous social arrangements just lead to massive violence and instability. When society tells most men, you can’t mate, can’t have a family, then expect violence at some point. It’s going to happen. And that’s the path we are on, with our current social arrangements.

In a sexually free society, with women being men’s economic equal, we have a new game where there is no enforced monogamy, no religion to be a check on female hyper-gamy, women vote in governments that takes resources from males, then sets up a proxy giant male, to compete with every man, for the affection and loyalty of women…..by providing women with resources and protection.

And of course, pregnancy itself is a biological evolved control on hyper-gamy. Perhaps it’s the biggest natural control of hyper-gamy. And we have removed much of the power of pregnancy to influence female behavior. A pregnant woman usually needs a man around, could use his help. If a woman is trying to sustain an infant, she has less reason, less time to shop around, to stray….less reason to be hyper-gamous. But with legal abortion and 60 million aborted children in the United States alone since Roe vs. Wade, this has led to a very large weakening of the natural pregnancy brake on hyper-gamy. Women in the United States have few children and often have them late….often aborting several along the way. All this leads to women having the time to explore their natural inclination to sleep around, to “trade up”. Since Roe vs. Wade essentially said that men have zero power, zero choice in sexual reproduction, it also said women have all the power, 100% of all the choice in sexual reproduction. This poured gasoline on the fire of female hyper-gamy. Especially since the decline of religion as a social force in advanced countries, men don’t even usually think in terms of restraining female sexual choice. So feminism has set us up as a society that has removed social and sexual restraints on female impulsiveness. Men are no longer in charge of sex. Men don’t even think about being in charge of sex, or having anything to say on the matter…..even though it affects us profoundly. This has put female hyper-gamy on steroids.

The outcome of this new sexual game, with our current rules, can’t good good…for women and for men.

So what happens in this modern current scenario is that most women chose a few guys. The Coach is completely wrong. He seems to think men and women are both hyper-gamous….which is true…but that this means if all men just step up their game, then all will be fine in this new sexual world, in our new sexual rules of women’s economic empowerment and endless mate choice for women. The Coach is just wrong. The fact is, most men can’t be in the top 20% of males. Math doesn’t work that way. Logic doesn’t work that way.

Of course, one caveat is in order: Coach Red Pill’s advice, about stepping up YOUR game, it will work, for any given man, if taken. It’s very good advice: step up your game. If you as a male get better at things, your mating chances succeed. That’s all true. But what will work for one man, won’t work for all men, simply because in order for Coach’s philosophy to work, then all men need to badly out-compete all women. And that’s very unlikely, given that women are roughly equal to men in ability.

Hyper-gamy is a sexual game….with rules. We have to look back at evolution, to see how and why it evolved. Then we have to look at the modern world, to see if those old rules still work in the modern world, or if we are in fact, setting up new rules that violate evolutionary norms. I think we are….Hyper-gamy has rules and outcomes, we must logically de-construct to see if the new sexual freedom game we now play, how and IF….it will work in evolution….today…..”In the current year”…as Super-Cuck Justin Trudeau would say.

Conclusion:

My guess? It won’t. It won’t work…not for long. Our current social pattern will not hold. In a game with no check on female power and choice, the human mating system breaks down. Only a few men get all the women, all the attention. If we keep going in our current rules of sexual freedom, eventually we will have complete social collapse.

….if I’m wrong, let me know why…I’m open to changing my mind, if presented with new facts and better logic.
