Mars Colonies: Heaven For The Godless Save for later Reblog
You all know that I’m not a big fan of outer space. Specifically, on the goings on in outer space that have no real importance to Earth whatsoever.
From scientists allegedly seeing a black hole (which last I heard we weren’t sure actually exist) eating a star and it looked like Spaghetti, to NASA sending some woman to collect found water on the Moon in 2024, to water for sure, absolutely, 110% existing on Mars for the 7000th time this week — the news is rife with stupid space news that you’re supposed to care about because it’s in the unwritten manual of “What White People Are Supposed To Do” along with camping and listening to Bon Jovi.
I don’t know about you, but I personally find little interest these days in a puff of smoke maybe once existing on the moon when the entire European race is headed toward extinction, we’re caught in forever lockdowns over a flu hoax (protests going strong again in Germany), and hostile foreign lizard people with funny hats rule over us.
The big news of course, is that Elon Musk totally for real is going to be building a city on Mars, population 1 million.

Ignoring the fact that living on Mars or on a space colony would actually be absolutely fucking terrible and in the current age, would just be loaded with Somalians to meet that “diversity” quota, Musk isn’t going to achieve this but if he somehow did, it would really suck.
However, atheists and people who read “I Fucking Love Science!” daily won’t hear a word of that. They absolutely believe in it. They spend considerable amounts of time dreaming of happenings lightyears from Earth and that this space colony will be a literal paradise.
Perhaps of all the Abrahamic religions, the one I hate the most is Scientism. At least the others all have some amount of genuine Romanticism and purpose about them and their mythologies. Scientism is entirely the inhuman, cold nihilism that C.S. Lewis described in “The Abolition of Man” coalesced into a religion and worshiped.
These people always see themselves as the opposite of Christcucks when in reality, they’re just a palette swap of them.
Instead of a preacher, they have “scientists”.
Instead of bibles, they have “textbooks”.
Instead of scripture, they have “studies”.
Instead of Angels, they have “aliens”.
Instead of a church, they have “Universities” or “Research institutes”.
Instead of the Rapture, they have “Climate Change”.
Instead of God, they have “Carl Sagan” and “Aliens who created man”.
and instead of Heaven, they have “Cities on Mars” or some other utopia that awaits beyond the clouds.
These concepts are entirely interchangeable with each other and both believe them to be infallible truths. One story that I think would demonstrate this well is the account of Soviet Scientists on board the Salyut 7 in 1984.
The account is that a team of scientists, lead by commander Oleg Atkov on board the Salyut 7 saw, on day 155 of the expedition, Angels “the size of jet airliners” outside of the windows of the craft as an ethereal, orange light flooded the cabin and seemed to “bleed through the walls”. At first, the crew merely dismissed their experience as the result of being in space for so long. Until a couple of weeks later, a second crew joined up with them from Earth, and then shortly after the entire crew once again saw the Angels and the orange light. All of the scientists reported seeing the exact same thing at the same time upon their return to Earth. After the cold war, it came out that Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space, also told the Russian government that he saw the same phenomena in Space.
For the faithful of Scientism, this account is high-level apostasy though its witnesses ticks all the boxes they want people to have. These were a mixed crew of men and women, the results were repeatable, they were all communists, living in a place where Christian religion was banned. It’s just a lie, hyper imagination, or some “Logical explanation” exists.
However, if the scientists had said they saw Aliens out their window, all of these people would be falling over them and believing in it. Just like they did that American astronaut who said Aliens are real…
They built the pyramids too, you know! No way humans could’ve moved some rocks and stacked them like that.

Like I said. No magic, no romanticism or humanity at all; just a worship of machines and technology and beings who are believed to possess better machines and technology.
The point is, we need to stop holding out for heaven. You’re not going to be living on a space colony in your lifetime and even if you could, it would be an extremely harsh and depressing environment to try and survive in and not some sort of great, multi-culti utopia where you get all kinds of transhumanist cyborg technology to grant you eternal life, either. Humans were meant to live on Earth. That is why we exist here.
It’s high time that we start paying attention to what is happening on Earth, in our homes, right in front of our faces and doing something about it.
Heaven can wait.
