Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars has just made a big hit! It’s time to get funky to the rhythm of the song. The lyrics were written by Mark Ronson and it is planned to be released on a studio album in 2015, called Uptown Funk. The whole song has the 80s mark on it, you can find soul and funk elements.

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars have teamed up not just for this song, but they are interested in making more music together hopefully for a long time.

In Australia the song hit the Number 2 spot and it was also included in the Mainstream TOP 40 in the USA.

The song has received many critics so far, but I think this old-school look and feel for the song make it a real cool piece and it can even be easily memorable after 20 years from now (although time will tell). Personally I would like to see more 70s, 80s and 90s inspired songs, because it would be really cool to see what can be made from renewing some old rhymes or writing brand new songs based on those.
