If you use Outlook and Your Computer Sucks, Here’s How to Fix It… Save for later Reblog
Cutting right to brass tax here.
Step 1. Go to Control Panel

Step 2. Change the view settings to “small icons”

Step 3. Click “Mail 32”

Step 4. Click the “Email Accounts” button

Step 5. Double-click the mail account that you are using (most likely there will only be one to choose from)

Step 6. Check the “Use cached exchange mode” box

Step 7. click “next” then click “finish” then restart Outlook.
That’s it! You are done!
I don’t know how many people come to me with a poorly performing computers and it turns out they are trying to look up emails from a year ago while accessing a cloud based mail server.

Also do this…
After you are using cached exchange mode, reopen outlook and go file and click “options”…

Then select “Add-ins”

And now click the “Go…” button near the bottom

Ensure that everything is unchecked and click OK. Restart outlook.

This is truly, the end.
I hope all 8 of you will find value in this short tutorial. The add-ins are constantly running in the background and are using precious resources. If your computer is running slowly (Not Responding), and you use outlook, there is nothing wrong with your computer. There is everything wrong with outlook. Have a nice day.
I need to make this blog over 500 words so here are some quotes from the late John Taylor Gatto.
“Is there an idea more radical in the history of the human race than turning your children over to total strangers whom you know nothing about, and having those strangers work on your child’s mind, out of your sight, for a period of twelve years? Could there be a more radical idea than that? Back in Colonial days in America, if you proposed that kind of idea, they’d burn you at the stake, you mad person! It’s a mad idea!” – John Taylor Gatto

” Slowly I began to realize that the bells and the confinement, the crazy sequences, the age-segregation, the lack of privacy, the constant surveillance, and all the rest of the national curriculum of schooling were designed exactly as if someone had set out to prevent children from learning how to think and act, to coax them into addiction and dependent behavior.” – John Taylor Gatto
