”Leaving YouTube is harder than you think” -me
In light of the most recent YouTube adpocalypse spurred on by Vox.com’s latest targeted outrage campaign against Steven Crowder, many content creators are going to be looking elsewhere for a more stable source of income.
However, creators are not the only ones moving on from the platform. I personally will be moving on and have been looking for a decent alternative since around the 2016 election. It’s amazing how conservative and libertarian content has thrived on YouTube considering that they have been systematically oppressed for almost three years!
Vid.me was pretty awesome but it had some issues and ultimately was Shut down. Minds is ok, but the interface is disjointed and clunky. I like gab.ai the best out of the alt social media sites, but it doesn’t have built in video capabilities. Bitchute is great but for some reason is blocked on my work computer which is where I do most of my watching and listening.

I can only assume I am not the only one clamoring to get out from under the spell of YouTube. I hate being beholden to well…anyone! But the content on YouTube is so beautiful and voluminous; I can’t get away. YouTube is like a pimp with the drugs, and I’m it’s bitch with a habit. There is no proper alternative is what I’m getting at.
Here is a list of ten things I want from a creator site…
I am writing this today to request someone out there build a decent video creation site that:
1. Works
2. Has a clean interface
3. Free speech
4. Has a trending list based on merit.
5. Makes sharing easy
6. Makes posting easy
7. Has a mute function
8. Rewards with an easily exchangeable crypto
9. Has a built-in guild or stable creator option
10. Has a built-in thumbnail editor
Anyway…
I think if a site had these things it would take off like a rocket. It’s current year and YouTube has reigned supreme for too long. Look at how fast self checkout has grown in the past year, or self driving cars for that matter. Could we please make a free speech knockoff of YouTube already? Let me know what you all think, and ALWAYS Venerate the Sovereign
