“Cultural Appropriation” Was A Missed Opportunity For Nationalists Save for later Reblog
Something I’ve felt compelled to write a little series of essays on is “Talking Points The Left Abandoned”. If you haven’t noticed, there’s actually a lot of talking points the anti-white globalists, also commonly called “The Left™” used to make, but don’t anymore as they increasingly have no need for masking their intentions.

One such talking point was “cultural appropriation”, which you may recall being all the rage just a few years ago, but has been dropped out of the limelight entirely. This is because it was exclusively white people being accused of this crime, and was almost always followed up with “white people have no culture”. They eventually “shut it down” on this talking point, because too many white people started saying:
“Hey, wait a minute…”

White people were coming dangerously close to a mass recollection of the fact that we not only have unique cultural identities; we have the most iconic ones in the world, and the absolute last thing our enemies want us to have is a racial identity — culture being right downstream from race, of course. I suspect that cultural appropriation wasn’t something that was intended to happen unlike most other social justice movements. Rather, it was probably the left’s own realization of the absence or lowered presence of white culture in modernity, but using that absence as a reason to attack whites, which is normally the correct course of action in their ideologies. It was probably a case where the Soros tribe’s own schemes were getting away from them, and so they had to reel it back in by letting the (controlled) opposition win.
As fate would have it, just the other day, someone brought to my attention this article. I absolutely recommend you read it, but I will summarize its rather astute observation in a single sentence: American baby boomers’ undying fealty to Israel is “vicarious identitarianism” which serves as surrogate white nationalism for them.
This got me thinking beyond boomers. Consider how popular anime and all things Japan are among white, American millennials.

Or how African-American “gangsta” culture has been popular for the last 25 years or so among American whites.

Europe has these people too, but as far as I can tell, it’s usually not nearly in the same capacity as the colonies do. Why I believe this to be the case, and why this may ultimately be the downfall of the colonies is an article unto itself, and I will write it in the near future.
I believe that white gangstas and weebs are ultimately the same as the baby boomers’ love for Israel: It’s vicarious identitarianism. In the abandonment and demonizing of European culture, white people have latched on to foreign ethnostates and cultural identities of people who have an entirely different history and destiny than we do because that’s seen as acceptable, and is as close to scratching that itch of racial pride that has been suppressed deep within their souls as they can get.
It’s fine — in fact, it’s encouraged — for you to be pro-African, pro-Asian, and above all, pro-Jewish. This helps facilitate the great replacement. You can scream at the top of your lungs how much you love Japan and Japanese people, or Israel, and be met with cheers all around. Do the same about your Germanic or Slavic roots, and see how the reaction differs!
I believe that this “vicarious identitarianism” through other cultures is actually more insidious than escapist-consumerism even is, because one is based on fiction and encourages passivity, and the other on something real and human, which encourages action.

We absolutely shouldn’t be encouraging the emulation of foreign cultures over our own stuff.
In hindsight: I believe that white nationalists should have kept the argument and shaming against white “cultural appropriators” going, because that was clearly a good opportunity to get more of our people back in touch with their racial identity. The ball was in our court there, because it would’ve been publicly acceptable for us to join in on the criticisms of these “appropriators”, and we could’ve fired back with the truth instead of, as the left did, letting the normie-cons win on that front, where they argued “It’s not racist and therefore is good“, which seems to be what happened. Honestly, I don’t remember anyone on our side capitalizing on this back when. The left threw in the towel on this because it was actually working against their cause in the long run — they want us to embrace foreign cultures and “diversity” instead of our own.
Consider putting your children to bed with a bedtime story taken from Celtic Mythology or Brother’s Grimm instead of Paw Patrol.

Perhaps try to introduce your children, friends and family to the great works of European music by the likes of Mozart or Tchaikovsky instead of latina and wannabe-latina generic, african-american-influenced pop hits?
Or to our enchanting, traditional folk music?
Remember, the most important thing is that we need our people to embrace our European identity again. That means our people, our traditions, our music, our art, our way of life; not someone else’s. If we cannot re-establish that connection, then there is no hope.
Fortunately, there does seem to be a growing interest in our ancient traditions, such as this couple who had the first traditional viking wedding in 1000 years.

May they have many little vikings.
To quote the groom: “…see how happy paganism makes me and how it has helped me get my life together. Before I was a Viking, I didn’t have a wife, a baby and a house – now look at me.“
