Blizzard & The Get Woke, Go Broke Hoax Save for later Reblog
Blizzard, a video game company that I sadly likely don’t need to introduce to most anyone who will read this, has found themselves in a bit of a scandal after they banned some player who apparently chanted some support for the Hong Kong protesters.

Now, this prompted a boycott, people uninstalling games, hundreds of thousands of upvotes for doing so, yadda yadda.
There’s also a lot of outrage building over the fact that, in their latest hit game, “Diversity Shooter 3000” or “Overwatch”, as it’s called in other regions, has two gay characters who are not gay in China.

Would the outrage be at all on the same scale if a white, British player championed a pro-Brexit slogan and was banned? Would there be walk-outs at Blizzard’s offices if that were the case? I think we’ve seen this kind of thing more than enough to know that the answer to that would be “hell no” given the obvious leftist, pro-globalist stance of both the company itself and their fanbase.
Where is this “concern” over “The rise of the EU” or “The Rise of the UN’s” control over national sovereignty of white nations? Instead, we get kvetching about China’s influence over sportsball and e-sports. No kvetching over China buying up Canada, though.
Secondly, with this concern over gay characters not being gay in other countries, threads on the Overwatch game’s official forums popping up, as well as that tweet up there getting thousands of retweets and likes — I recall Cyberpunk 2077 recently “got woke” and I don’t remember this level of outrage among the playerbase at all. No serious boycotts, nothing; Cyberpunk is still poised to make mad bank.

I don’t recall this kind of outrage for redpilled players being banned on the reg, either.
It remains to be seen what will happen, but I’m going to bet that these “anti-PC” actions that Blizzard has committed will prove to be more damaging than anything “getting woke” has to date; at the very least, we can already say it is a bigger scandal.
I already talked at length about how there has yet to be a video game or film company who got “woke” that went anywhere near “broke” as a result, and why there is no reason to believe they ever will thanks to their most-loyal consumers being non-whites who are the base of leftist parties, and non-whites are quickly becoming the majority in North America and some European countries. Thus, the only way to defeat it is to simply not consume it; no, not even the odd “based” one designed to rope the demographic of white males back into consuming.
It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out for Blizzard, because if this winds up actually hurting them, at least on a scale greater than companies who made woke games, it will give a lot of weight to what I’ve argued for years — the reason for the dip in sales of Star Wars, James Bond, Marvel etc. had nothing to do with politics, and everything to do with the fact these poz’d shows just sucked by all accounts. Contrarily, Overwatch was poz’d to begin with, but drew tens of MILLIONS of players and was, by all accounts, a great game. It appears to be the case that betraying the “woke” left is far more devastating to your product than adopting politics hostile to straight, white males.
This suggests that the millions of people consuming these products, many or most of them living in the west, are either pro-globohomo or are apathetic to globohomo, and it doesn’t deter them from consuming.
That’s not a good sign for our political and demographic future.
