With the preponderance of fake news lately by such conspiracy sights as CNN, MSNBC, CBS, etc., I have had to pause and think about everything I think . Most of the things we know are told to us by another person, a teacher, a parent, main stream media, movies and many other “authorities”. That many of us trust and never really question. We never really fact check for ourselves, and outlets like snopes who supposedly check for us are interested only in confirming whatever is the company line.
As for me, I have pretty much taken up the point of view that whatever is called a conspiracy theory is more likely to be the truth or closer to it. I assume that anything the government comes out with is usually a lie and a fairly obvious lie at that. I feel like someone laughs at us while they tell us fairy stories about 9-11 and then tell us we are crazy if we don’t believe it. The fact is, the term conspiracy theory was weaponized in 1967 in response to people who didn’t believe the blatant lies of the Warren commission regarding the Kennedy assassination. Without recapping the minutia of that complicated lie, it is sufficient to say that the leader of that commission was Alan Dulles, a man Kennedy had fired under great animosity. We now know that Kennedy really was shot from the front and back, thus by definition it WAS a conspiracy. So, the original conspiracy theory has been proven correct. We also recently learned that Adolf Hitler really did escape to Argentina according to J. Edgar Hoover and we have a letter from Hoover regarding the existence of a hidden government. Kennedy also spoke on this hidden government as did Eisenhower. Yet, if you bring any of these things up people look at you like you are crazy, a conspiracy theorist. Well, most crimes are conspiracies in some way.
The reason I brought all these things up is because I have my own set of assumptions that I rarely question. For instance the flat earth. I am sure that the earth is a globe but I have never seen it. This is taking something on enough faith that it could be a religion. There are many intelligent people who are sure that the earth is flat. Add to that the fact that NASA admits that there are no pictures of the earth that are not CGI to some extent because of the limitations of their equipment. Also, everyone who has ever been in space has been a Freemason leaving open the possibility that they are all lying as part of the agenda of the club to which they all belong. Now I am not saying that I believe this, but the fact is I really don’t know. And neither do you.
This brings up many other questions. Is God real? Are you sure? Is evolution real? I believe it is but the fact is it is unproven. It is clear that change takes place within species, but there is no proof of one species turning into another. I’m really not sure. Did we land on the moon? There are videos of NASA scientists admitting that there is no way that a human could survive the Van Allen Radiation Belt. The things that I can see that are controversial tend to prove that conspiracy theory is a synonym for the truth.
I’m not sure what the answer to all of this is, but I would like to thank the main stream media for telling lies that led me to question everything. It will be a busy next few decades of learning for me!
